Privacy Policy
Last updated June 1, 2026
This policy explains what OENRA collects, why, and the control you have over it. It's written to be read — not to hide behind jargon. This is a plain-language template for our private beta and will be finalized before general availability.
What we collect
Account information you provide, such as your email and the role you select. Taste signals you generate — quiz answers, scans, ratings, saves, journal entries, and searches — which together form your Taste DNA.
For trade accounts, the production and chemistry data you upload, and how you use the dashboards. We also collect basic technical data (device, browser, and usage analytics) to keep the product working and improving.
Why we use it
To model your palate and predict your personal match, to power recommendations, pairings, and cellar features, and to improve our models over time.
We do not sell your identity. Insights that improve the models for everyone are anonymized and aggregated so they can't be traced back to you.
Your controls
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data. You can opt out of non-essential analytics. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data on a defined schedule.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), including the right to object to certain processing and to not have personal information sold or shared.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run OENRA (such as hosting and email) under contracts that limit their use of it. We may share data to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
For white-label and API partners, data is governed by the specific agreement in place, and we require partners to handle it responsibly.
